JOB DESCRIPTION - OFFICE VOLUNTEER
Purpose:
-
To assist the Office Manager in the daily duties and
responsibilities such as answering phones.
-
Act as a part-time receptionist for the front
office.
-
Light filing as needed.
-
Photocopying.
-
Assist office personnel in directing new clients to
more appropriate resources and referral agencies.
-
Anything to help with overflow of clients.
Special Qualifications:
- Good communication skills.
- Good typing skills.
- Must be well-informed on issues of domestic violence, rape and sexual
assault.
Special Skills:
- The ability to interact well with a
variety of people including children.
- The ability to listen when a client has a problem.
- The ability to be warm, caring and compassionate.
